Dando a luz: Holistic Birthing Experiences
Dando a luz is the original Spanish phrase for the birthing process, translating to "give the light." We are a network of fully licensed independent birthing centers worldwide, delivering evidence-based pregnancy and birth services in a spa-like setting. We support all families experiencing low-risk natural births, with locations opening soon in Phuket, Thailand and Gold Coast, Australia.

To support the sanctity of birth in an ecologically and socialy responsible manner through the creation of birthing centers, educational programs, and artistic endeavors to effect a lasting change in the development of healthcare surrounding women, birth, and the early lives of future generations worldwide
At Dando A Luz Birthing Center, we believe that:
1. Pregnancy and childbirth are physiologic events that create an opportunity for personal, social and interpersonal growth.
2. It is a fundamental right for human beings to obtain healthcare that is medically sound, socially responsible, non-judgmental and in accordance with the individualʼs physical, social, spiritual, psychological and economic status.
3. Collaborative care involves equally respected professionals contributing unique experience, skills and knowledge to improve the holistic care of women
4. The definition of “family” will be respected by all members of the care team regardless of considerations regarding religious, ethnic, social, financial, sexual orientation, immigration status or special needs identification.
